Blitzed.org - Help Department - User Services
The Blitzed IRC Network provides its users with services for registering nicknames, sending memos, and channel registration & control. The Blitzed IRC Network provides the software, hardware, and staff to maintain these services. Currently, these are our own customized services. The source of this software is available from our CVS, but is not supported.
We have created a guide to aide you in the use of services. If you need additional help, feel free to ask our ops in #help. However, We do ask that you try to use the commands below (and familiarise yourself with them) to find the answers to your questions. This comes in handy for a couple reasons: (1) If you are in need of help and no one is around to help you at that time, you'll have a resource at hand to assist you in your time of need and (2) The number of questions you have will decrease as you learn the help commands and how to use them.
To communicate to services, you use the /msg command.
In most clients, you may just type slash and the service.
The case of the command you send doesn't matter, with the exception of passwords.
For most commands send to services, it is required that you are identified first. For information on identifying to Chanserv or Nickserv, please visit those help areas.
